#Missions

Job Purpose :

Provide portfolio control and investment support services acting as a point of contact for Portfolio, fund accountants and other third parties in respect of middle and back office requests.

Key Accountabilities :

· Act as a point of contact for any middle and back office inquiries / issues / exceptions by Fund Managers, fund accountants and external third parties

· Perform relevant NAV (Net Asset Value) validation on specific portfolios to make sure the NAV prices produced by fund accountant are correct. This may include checks of all Portfolio Data: positions, transactions, cash monitoring, instrument prices, accrued interest, forward FX P&L,…

· Operate controls defined by our client Global Risk Control Framework (GRCF) and Compliance for Portfolio Control activity (ex : monitor Investment Guidelines and report breaches) and ensure that rules defined by this risk framework are well applied on a daily basis (ex : forced price systematically validated by Risk team)

· Assist Fund Managers on Investment Support tasks on a daily basis (ex : cash management by producing cash forecasts and overdraft monitoring…). This can include asset servicing responsibility, instrument valuation for clients and all OTC related tasks.

· Participate in and assist with the creation of and changes to portfolios, new types of instruments and new operational procedures including liaising with IT and Product Engineering

· Participate in the development and testing of system changes which have an impact on the Operations procedures affecting our portfolios

· Work with Fund Managers and a number of other teams (Dealing Desk, Reporting, Performance, Investment Risk, Client Services…) to ensure involvement in various topics additionally to business as usual tasks.This also includes to produce and check required reporting

· Participate in Operations projects, department governance and initiatives

Qualifications :

Education/ Qualifications

· Degree educated in business/finance or relevant experience in Operations

Experience / Skills : 

· Relevant past experience in Middle office/Front Office Support roles

· In-depth knowledge of financial instruments and good understanding of the Asset Management industry

· Comprehensive understanding of Investment Management Operations as well as Fund Administration and Accounting

· Good Excel skills, advanced skills (VBA & macro) preferable

· Fluent in English
